<description>The Project:UI design for iOS app.

The Idea: ThingTab is an app for "your things". With it you can keep add your things easily through a bar code reader, find out what your things are worth used, buy new things, sell your things and get recall alerts for the things you own.

The idea was to make it easy. You've got a lot of things so why mess it up with an app that doesn't keep track of your things easily.

<description>The Project: Create an early childhood educational game that 's easy to play and that doesn't suck.

The Idea: In most early childhood learning apps information and instructions are written, the UI is cumbersome and unimportant to the end user experience, are too difficult to play without instruction and fail to give appropriate visual or audio cues for success and failure of tasks.

Anibets was created with these ideas in mind. The simple matching game uses no defined instruction apart from the natural experimentation of touching the screen and realizing each half can be swiped to the right or left.

The UI is fun and colorful utilizing 26 animals, objects or things, under a single theme, each representing a letter of the alphabet. Each theme is created by local artists and illustrators

Visual and audio cues are given for success and failure and a physical reward system is used for matching all 26 animals, objects or things. On completion of the theme, the player will be mailed a printed poster incorporating a single animal, object of thing to display proudly on the players wall.

Working together, these things should expedite alphabet learning, strengthen vocabulary and help the child to associate letters with the things in the world around them.

A special thanks to Rob Mack for providing the prototype illustrations and the first theme.

<description>Is it “fine art”? Or is it “illustration”? Inkwell asks a different set of questions: “Is it beautiful?” “Is it desirable?” “Is it truly one of a kind?”

As the senior art director on the team I participated in brand and creative strategy sessions as well as created logo and site concepts for this one-of-a-kind illustration art site.

<description>The Project: Logo design, web and mobile site for Northwest Denver neighborhood music festival.

The Idea: Create a useful and informative experience while imersing the user in a visual story about the festival's bluegrass roots.

The responsive design will display across desktop, mobile and tablet devices with a use emphasis in mobile devices. The heavily typographic and illustrative style provides a hint to the festivals roots while creating a visual language as unique as the festival itself.

A social "toolbox" feature allows for optimal use of space and a persistent music player.

<description>The Project: Streamline netquote.com insurance quote finder experience.

The Idea: The process of finding insurance providers can take more then 30 secs so providing information during the search and offering related products and services was integral in keeping the user engaged and on site. I created a more streamlined user flow and wireframes to engage a more impatient user and ultimately get that user to engage netquote.com to provide them with an insurance provider.

<description>The Project: Corporate web site and customer portal for midwest's largest Cummins distributor.

The Idea: Create a very usable heavy content, professional and clean corporate site that provides users with time sensitive and detailed information on products, repair status, recalls, and FAQs while establishing Crosspoint as their own brand at the same time giving a nod to the company that helped them grow.

		<description>The Project: Palermo's Pizza 360º of Giving loyalty/giving app.

The idea: Buy a Palermo's Pizza, scan it and $1 goes to Feed America. You'll also earn one degree of sharing where at certain accumulations a member is offered incentives to try other Palermo's products, opportunities to participate in taste tastes, offer new pizza ideas and invitations to special factory events while continuing to give, a huge part of Palermo's mission.

The app also offers nutritional and allergen info for their pizzas as well as an oven timer that uses Geolocation to determine exact lat. and long. and altitude. This info is used to determine exact temperature and times for cooking a specific Palermo's Pizza to perfection.
